Charleston vacational rental market deserves more

An unexpected beginning. A clear purpose.

Southline wasn’t the next chapter we had planned. But when change opened the door, we knew what we wanted to create. With decades of experience in Charleston, strong local relationships and a genuine love for this work, we saw an opportunity to help shape what hospitality here could become.

We created Southline around a simple conviction: homeowners and guests should have the best of modern hospitality and a personal connection to the people behind it. Sophisticated marketing, thoughtful operations and new technology belong alongside local expertise, familiar voices and people who follow through. We are investing in the tools—and doubling down on the relationships.

Starting fresh gives us the freedom to make every choice with purpose, from our linens and local vendors to our website, office locations and operating systems. Most importantly, we get to bring together people who share our enthusiasm for what comes next—and give them the tools, trust and support to make it happen.

The future of luxury is personal.

Southline brings together familiar names, trusted local professionals and experience earned through years of doing the work. Our people have built careers caring for homes, guiding homeowners and welcoming guests along this coast. They know these communities, understand what the homes require and have the relationships to get things done.

We have come together because we share a belief in what hospitality should feel like: personal, thoughtful and dependable. That takes more than a system or a script. It takes someone who listens, recognizes what matters and cares enough to see it through.

We are investing in AI and modern technology to support those people—not replace them. The purpose is to take repetitive work off their plates and give them more time for real conversations, thoughtful recommendations and personal attention. The value of better technology is what it makes possible between people.

To us, that is the new luxury: local knowledge you can trust, a familiar person you can turn to and the confidence that someone is genuinely looking after you.

The people who recognize you

Welcome to the Collection.

Our team shares a love for this coast, a passion for hospitality and a personal stake in what we are building. Southline is an opportunity to do work we believe in and build a future for our own families, while caring for the homes and experiences that matter to yours.

For our homeowners, a home can hold years of hard work, family traditions and plans for the future. For our guests, a stay is time set aside to reconnect, celebrate or simply be together. Being trusted with either means something to us.

That is why we care about how a home is prepared, how someone is welcomed and whether a promise is kept. Nobody notices every detail. Everybody feels the sum of them.

Whether you join us as a homeowner, a guest or a member of our team, you help shape what Southline becomes.

This is our story. We invite you to be part of it.

Our Focus

Four Destinations. One Coast. On Purpose.

We’re not everywhere — and that’s the point.

We keep homes on four barrier islands within a thirty-minute radius of downtown Charleston. That focus is deliberate. It’s how our team can be on-island in minutes, how our concierges know every restaurant reservation desk personally, and how the same person who answers the phone in June will still be there in December.
