Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of southlinecollection.com and any booking you start here. The website is operated by Southline Collection LLC ("Southline," "we," "us"), a vacation rental management company serving Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, Wild Dunes and Isle of Palms, South Carolina. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Who may use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to book a stay or submit a form. When you book, you confirm that you are the person responsible for the reservation and for every guest in your party.

2. Listings and accuracy

Property descriptions, photos, amenities, rates and availability come from our property management system and from the homeowners we represent. We work to keep them accurate and we correct errors when we find them. Rates and availability can change until a reservation is confirmed. Photos show the home at the time they were taken, so furnishings and décor may differ slightly from what you see.

Homes marked "Coming Soon" or "New Photos Coming Soon" are joining the collection and may not be bookable yet. Use the inquiry form on the listing and we will contact you when the home opens.

3. Reservations and the rental agreement

A booking made on this site is a request to rent a specific home for specific dates. Your stay is governed by the Southline Collection rental agreement, which you accept at checkout. Where these terms and the rental agreement differ, the rental agreement controls for everything about the stay itself, including house rules, occupancy limits, damage, check-in and check-out times, and cancellation.

The total shown at checkout includes the nightly rate, cleaning and service fees, and the taxes required by South Carolina and the local jurisdiction. A reservation is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider inside the checkout page. Your card details are entered directly with the payment provider; we do not see or store your full card number. By submitting payment you authorize the charges shown at checkout and any later charges permitted by the rental agreement, such as damage beyond normal wear or a late checkout fee.

5. Changes and cancellations

The cancellation terms for your reservation are shown before you pay and form part of your rental agreement. To change or cancel a reservation, contact us using the details at the end of these terms. Refunds, when due, are returned to the original payment method. We recommend travel insurance for stays that cannot be moved.

6. Your conduct

When you use the site you agree not to:

  • submit false information, or book for someone who has not authorized you to do so
  • copy, scrape or republish site content or listing data
  • interfere with the site, its security features or the systems behind it
  • use the site for any unlawful purpose

7. Content you send us

Information you submit through our forms, including inquiries, applications to join the collection and requests for home services, is used to respond to you and to provide what you asked for. If you send us photos, reviews or other material for publication, you give us a non-exclusive right to use it on the site and in our marketing, and you confirm that you have the right to share it.

8. Our content

The text, photography, video, logos and design of this site belong to Southline Collection or are used with permission from the homeowners and creators involved. You may view and print pages for your personal use in planning a stay. Any other use needs our written permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The site links to and relies on services run by other companies, including our booking engine, payment provider, mapping and analytics tools. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content of sites we link to.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be available at all times or free of errors, and to the extent the law allows we disclaim warranties about the site and its content. Nothing in this section limits the rights you have under the rental agreement for a confirmed stay.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, Southline Collection and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for claims relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the reservation in question, or $100 if you have not made a reservation. Liability for the stay itself is addressed in the rental agreement.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to that venue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our services change. The effective date at the top tells you when this version took effect. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
