Four Islands, One Coast: How to Choose

Guests often ask us which island. The honest answer is that they’re after different kinds of days, and each of the four gets one of them right.

Kiawah is the wide, quiet one. Long beaches, private feel, the kind of stay where you don’t need to leave the community for a full week.

Seabrook reads as Kiawah’s smaller neighbour, but with a stronger equestrian and coastal-nature pull. Good for families who want scale but not crowds.

Isle of Palms is the social one. Restaurants at your feet, the shortest reach into Charleston proper, and the boardwalk energy that some trips ask for.

Wild Dunes lives on the north end of Isle of Palms and gathers a lot of the golf and resort-side visitors, without giving up the beach.
